This is a very nice knife set, very sharp right out of the box. This knife is heavy, well balanced, forged knives, blades made of rust-resistant, reasonably good quality high-carbon stainless steel. The knife features with a black polymer, non slip soft grip and stainless steel handles. The poly grip handles work really well with just a very slight give and feels soft to the touch.

The eight steak knife handles are a little thin but still work great, it is regular straight edge knives which is great since you can sharpen them once they start to get dull.
