The Voltas Himalayan Salt Lamp is hand carved from 100% Natural and Genuine Himalayan salt crystals mined in the Himalayan Mountains. Himalayan salt lamp release negative charged ions upon heating natural minerals (such as sodium chloride) through the bulb’s heat. These negative ions also neutralize positive charge ions produced by electrical appliances thus simulating the same ambience of mountains, beaches or a green forest in your room.

Made of 100% Himalayan Crystal Salt from Khewra Salt Mines in Pakistan.
The quality of lamps and its glow greatly varies with the origin of Salt Crystals.
Once lit the lamp will emit a calming Amber color.
Shade and hue of color varies from Lamp to lamp depending upon the metallurgy of the Salt Crystal.
Heating the salt with the included 15 watt bulb releases negative ions into the air, creating an effect similar to an ionizer, purifying the surrounding air.
Due to the natural variation in Himalayan Crystal salt, weight, size, color and shape may vary.
Base is made of genuine neem or teak wood. Neem is an effective botanical insecticide, due to the pest repelling aromatic properties of the wood, it is termite free.
